Pro Bono

As a renowned provider of legal services, Vejmelka & Wünsch is fully aware of its share of responsibility for the functioning of society based on the rule of law. For this reason, the firm actively participates in providing pro bono legal services to non-profit organizations and to individuals with limited financial resources. In 2008 the firm expressed its support for the continuous development of pro bono services by signing a Pro Bono Declaration and, in particular, by its willingness to provide to the above-mentioned subjects pro bono services within the Pro Bono Centre project framework. Consequently Vejmelka & Wünsch has rendered legal assistance to the NGO Iuridicum Remedium, o.s. regarding the evaluation of discriminatory conditions related to the sale of the anonymous chip card “Opencard” and to INEX – Sdružení dobrovolnických aktivit (INEX – Association of Volunteer Activities), pertaining to the development of a legal framework for foreign volunteer projects.
